ENROLLMENT OPENS FALL 2023

Here you are, Googling menopause symptoms

Again.

Trying to find out what to do about hot flashes. Can you make diet changes, or do you need hormone therapy?

Waking up at 3am and unable to get back to sleep. You’ve heard that sleep problems can occur in menopause too. Does that mean you are in menopause? Or is it perimenopause?

Last month your period was late, and you had to take a pregnancy test - a scare that you thought you left behind with your twenties and low-rise jeans.

And why, all of a sudden, do you feel bloated after everything you eat?

Your body is changing, and you want to eat well, but you just cannot face going on another diet.

And the fatigue. How can I feel this tired all the time?

The last time you visited your doctor and brought up your symptoms, they told you you were too young to be in menopause and to just eat well and get some exercise. Not helpful.

This can’t be the way it is from now on.

Menopause doesn't have to be a mystery

You can feel prepared for what's ahead and feel good in your body

Instead of feeling tired and foggy all the time, imagine having the energy to power through your day and keep up with your kids.

Instead of being afraid of how many carbs to eat, you can feel confident that you know the right choice for you and your body.

Instead of feeling bloated and uncomfortable after eating, you can finish a meal feeling satisfied and content.

Menopause is transformational

Your body will change.

How you take care of it, think about it, and show up for it will determine whether or not you will thrive.

Meet Melanie

Registered Dietitian

A confession right at the start – I'm in my early forties and I haven’t made it to the other side of the menopause transition yet. But I most certainly am experiencing the symptoms of perimenopause. Period changes, sleep disturbances, and mood changes. Just waiting for those hot flashes to show up.

I understand how busy this time of life is. There's a lot to deal with between kids, careers, and aging parents. Our health is often pushed to the bottom of the to-do list.

I also understand how insidious and pervasive diet culture is. It tells us our changing bodies are wrong and makes us question ourselves. We don’t need diet culture telling us to “stop the middle-aged spread.” We need compassion and information about how the menopause transition affects our health. We need to feel empowered and supported.

I aim to make your experience feel collaborative, safe, and free from judgment. I want to help you make informed, evidence-based decisions about your health, while benefiting from the support and encouragement of a community.

In The Nourished Menopause Program you get:
  • 12 weeks of group coaching sessions designed to support you in making sustainable health change
  • Weekly Q&A and group discussions for encouragement from a supportive community
  • Weekly session replays you can watch (or re-watch) on your own time so you don't miss a thing
  • On-demand learning library with video and digital learning resources
  • Unlimited email support during the program so all your questions are answered
  • A private group forum for additional community support and encouragement

“55% of women wish they had learned about menopause earlier in life”

You deserve to invest in your health now and for your future.

Menopause is transformational.

How do you want the change to be?

This sounds amazing, but I still have questions.
How long do I have program access?
You have access to the program content for 6 months after joining.
What if I can't make it to the group sessions?
You can submit your questions ahead of time and Melanie will answer live on the call. Making time for the live sessions or to watch the replays will help you get the most out of this program, as you learn from hearing other people ask questions. Often, these are questions you didn't even realize you had until you heard them being asked.
I live in Ontario, can I join the program?
Yes, the group coaching option is available for everyone! However, the additional 1:1 nutrition coaching option is only available to residents of British Columbia, The Yukon, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut.
I want to take this program, but this isn’t the best time for me. Will it be offered again?
Yes, this program is offered regularly throughout the year. Currently, we are upgrading our offering and will reopen registration in the fall. The best way to know when the next session will be is to add your name to the waitlist. This gives you the chance to be the first to know and have an opportunity to exclusive program bonuses.
Is this a weight loss program?
This is a health-focused program, meaning we focus on building lasting and sustainable health habits. Your weight might change as an outcome of that, and you are welcome to discuss weight loss goals in the individual sessions; however, the program is not designed to make weight loss the primary outcome.
How do I know if this is the right program for me?
This program is for people in their late 30s, 40s and 50s who are in perimenopause or even the early stages of postmenopause. If you want to learn about menopause, understand how it may impact your day-to-day life and long-term health, as well as learn tools and skills to help you build sustainable health habits, this program is for you. If you are still unsure, book a clarity call to learn more about the program.
